FAQs: Our recent corporate update

Are SoundMoney, Stack & Sell, and VaultMax affected?

No. These services operate separately and will continue without interruption, subject to their respective terms and conditions. 7k is only a marketing partner for SoundMoney. Any metal holdings you have will remain stored with uninterrupted service as per the VaultMax terms and conditions. See the FAQ's at sound.money or 7kmetals.com for information on any requests pertaining to your holdings.

Is 7k going out of business?

No. 7k is not closing. 7k is transitioning to a retail-focused e-commerce model. We are looking forward to serving our customers long into the future with collectible products, AutoSaver programs, 7k Pro, coin drops, and related or expanded services.

Will commissions continue after March 28, 2026?

No. The final commission-cycle check will be processed March 28, 2026, subject to cancellations, returns, and chargebacks. After that date, products and services will no longer carry commissionable points. Any personal customers in your organization today will be counted in the new affiliate model, and you will earn from the purchases of those customers according to the new affiliate model.

Are AutoSaver, coin drops, and subscriptions continuing?

Yes. AutoSaver and coin drops will continue as scheduled. Customers may log into their accounts to modify or cancel subscriptions at least three days prior to renewal or shipment.

What happens to my accrued points?

Accrued and unpaid points will expire. However, accrued and unpaid points in the pay leg will be converted to loyalty-rewards points. Additional details regarding loyalty-rewards usage and expiration will be provided separately.

Will customer accounts remain accessible?

Yes. Customers will continue to have access to their accounts to manage subscriptions, review order history, and participate in available programs. Where offered, access to 7k University, 7k Advantage, 7k Protect, SoundMoney, Stack & Sell, and VaultMax will continue. We are excited to continue serving our customers long into the future.

What is the new affiliate program?

7k is developing a simplified customer-referral program that will include an affiliate component. The new model will be:

  • Single-level

  • Retail-driven

  • Customer-focused.

It will not include ranks to maintain or downlines to manage.

7k expects that affiliates will earn fixed percentage commissions on qualifying purchases made by retail customers they personally refer (e.g., using a promo code or unique referral link).

Why is 7k making this change?

Customer purchasing behavior has shifted significantly toward direct online retail. Maintaining a multi-level compensation structure requires a different operational model and cost profile. Moving to a direct-to-customer approach allows 7k to simplify operations, offer more competitive pricing, and focus on product quality and customer experience for the long term.
